How Does Compression Work?
Compression helps your body's natural process of circulation by moving blood back up to the heart for reoxygenation. All day, our veins are fighting against gravity to push the blood in our feet and legs all the way back up to our heart. When the muscles in your legs move, they contract to help push that blood back up to the heart.
Many of us spend hours every day sitting or standing though, which can lead to poor circulation and blood pooling in our feet and legs. Compression applies gentle pressure to your veins to help push the blood back up to the heart, even when you're sitting. This keeps blood flowing and improves circulatory health throughout your entire body.
